I jotted this quote down about two weeks ago on a yellow post-it note, stuck it on my computer monitor and left it there thinking that someday I would find an appropriate time and place with which to use it. I think I have - found the right time to use the quote that is.

It is my guess that Einstein was trying to tell us that some level of intellectual evolution has to occur before the problems "that exist in the world" are solved. I concur and find this quote rather timely given the results of the election.
